Wheels Of Time
By Natasha Gracious
Should precious jewels matter to thee,
Moonstone, ruby or sapphire?
Why parade a sparkling neck,
When peace's all thou desire?
Beauty is fleeting, it shall fade away,
No strong a leaf, that withers astray.
It's the demise, the end that swears to live,
No matter thou deny, no matter thou pray.
When hungry oceans burn with rage,
Mighty mountains turn a new page.
It's the dial that shows the interchange of state,
Mine will be yours and yours will be mine.
So cling on kindness, empathy and love,
Even the strongest steel decays with time.
