What's God Given

Heaven may seem far,

That’s because we’re supposed to be alive in the longer hour.

Not yet is it meant to be ours,

Time shall heal all our scars.

So stay and win back everything you thought was dead.

Leave behind everything you said.

Think about today’s say,

Make your own way.

You’ve always given enough,

On yourself, you’ve always been so rough,

A star can’t see it’s own light;

Which is why from the surface, they look small and in plight.

It is solely darkness,

That can make a star realise its greatness.

Fight and face everything that leaves you blank,

Bring up all your goodness that sank.

Something that flows in your veins can never be lost,

Don’t back off on seeing its cost.

Your dream of a better tomorrow,

To be real, cannot afford you working in sorrow.

In this world, you only have your own shoulder to cry on;

Because the throne is yours alone to be seated on.
