Strangers we were

Surprisingly that went by a blur

Years formed a bond

And I knew exactly how to respond

Losing you was never even a thought

But in the love and words did I get caught

Imagining a forever

Despite knowing it’s maybe a never

Love so strong but it did not belong

So now strangers we are.
