What Is Poetry To The Heart?

Pen over paper, a dance of black and white

Tears its symphony, The heart sings a quiet melody,

Languages within, unspoken to unknowns

Carved on marble, are Perceptions of souls

Buried deep within misread metaphors,

Unearthed only by old, quarried souls.

An emblem of emotions, of colors only two,

Venerates a portrait, bearing the sky’s many hue.

Woven in every thread of history,

Unwinding them, pursuit of a beautiful mystery.

Symbols in ink, imprinted in paper,

Lips sing a sonnet, of hearts every matter.

Pen over paper, dance of black and white,

In ebony and ivory, silence finds its voice.
