What If I Die Someday?

What if I die someday, will you miss me?

there, lying still on my grave

will you kiss me?

will I still be handsome and brave?

or just a soul who is dead?

What if I die someday, will you remember me?

there, sitting under the starlight

will you try to find me?

will you be mad if I get obscured by the night?

or just cry at the hazy, dim sight?

What if I die someday, will you look through my gifts?

there, sitting on the sofa with those countless love letters that I gave you

will you smell the books I gifted you?

or just hug them to your chest and read them over and over again?

what if I die someday, will you remember the times we spent together?

there, lying on the bed watching our favorite movie

will you hug the pillows imagining me?

or just stop midway and cry the tears of my share?

what if I die someday, will you still gift me a yellow rose on my birthday?

there, standing near my grave

will you still lean down on your knees to give me my gift?

or just kiss my headboard and sit with me for a while?

what if I die someday, will you still love me the same?

there, lying on the bed where we made countless memories

will you wake up comfort me with those whispering sweet words?

or just wake up from your own hallucination?
