Wedding Anniversary

It was our wedding anniversary,

For the seventh time celebrations were necessary.

To my boss I asked for a casual leave,

An impression of conjugal bond to give.

I bought a precious necklace for her

That delighted both my wife and her mother.

For me also she bought a costly shirt

To keep the tie you must know the art.

In the evening a party was held

That of fragrance and perfumes smelled.

Everybody seemed to enjoy the event

Poured blessings and wishes to their heart’s content.

The next morning I left the bed floral

With a relief that, at least for that day, no quarrel!
