Wealthy skies [shallow eyes]

zéa dzana

It began. A cry, a gasp,

breathless and quiet but strong.

They glared hysterically at the heavens,

“I beg of you, it’s been… too… long!”

They were terribly anguished

and lonesome in a world so busy, so...

Although they were never apart,

simply a world of distance, space… to flow.

Although we had shallow eyes,

desire in our core and age-old body pains,

we looked up to the wealthy skies,

dreaming to jive there in endless gains.

I felt so, incredibly sonder,

that morning I was born.

An energy stream conjunct with the blood,

who felt eternally torn.

I wanted to weep

for those who wept at twilight,

but mother’s graceful fall

would become my fight.

Although we had shallow eyes,

desire in our core and age-old body pains,

we looked up to the wealthy skies,

dreaming to jive there in endless gains.

Trouble, trouble,

the horizon was turning crisp,

we felt the impending doom,

we were lucid through our lisp.

“The Thun!” der shook our souls

and we quickened in the blue,

we quarreled with the man,

a passion so red, rooted in that hue.
