Wealthy Clouds

Wide-open summer sky,

Naked rays of the sun.

Stop me from going out,

I’m a prisoner of my home.

Empty open grounds, empty all roads,

Empty open blue skies with no clouds and hope.

With no water in sight,

People hoping for repose.

God played the mercy,

Down came the rain,

Thunder, shower, lightning,

Everyone is happy and yay.

Toads out from underground,

Peacocks dancing in the rain.

Cool drizzle from the heavens,

Finally made my day.
