We Wish For Something

We wish for something,

We work for it,

We get it one day,

and then we lose it.

We are hurt,

We are broken,

but we get up again,

for time, is to heel everything.

We start crawling,

We start moving,

We begin the climb,

for the past, is to be left behind.

We wish for something,

We work for it,

We get it again,

but now we are scared.

We try to do things,

We try to make it right,

We try to make it constant,

We try to change it this time.

We are scared,

We might lose it again,

We are scared,

to be broken again.

So we push hard,

We want to change,

But something in us laughs,

saying' you are losing again.'

So, we wish for something,

We work for it,

We might even get it,

but we are going to lose it again?
