We Rise
We are women clad in iron,
baptised
upon coals of flame.
We rise-
and we rise, and we rise.
In the face of adversity,
we rise.
Fists clenched,
we rise,
battle cry upon our lips.
We rise
and we revel
in freedom and femininity.
Source and delta,
crafted from our loins,
we rise-
again and again, we rise.
For
we are women
clad in iron.
