We Grew Up A Little

From not giving a thought to most of our actions,

To overthinking the minutest detail of every little thing,

We grew up a little.

From wanting to share every detail of everyday with mum,

To trying our best not to overshare and make her worry,

We grew up a little.

From having no set boundaries in our minds at all,

To compartmentalising almost everything in life,

We grew up a little.

From not wanting to sleep early at nights,

To craving to fall asleep at all,

We grew up a little.

In the process of growing up a little,

Did we end up growing up a little too much?
