Ways I Hate
By Dhruvanth U
Is hating you the way,
I remember to love myself more
Is hating the way,
Forgetting your true smile that melt this man,
Made of a thousand bitter pebbles
Hating the smile that cast away a thousand dark shadows that haunt my soul.
The smile that enchanted the soul of mine.
Words short to portray the ways I treasure you,
Kings, Queens, Duchesses and Earls
The smile, alike White Pearls.
Her heart of Golden Diamonds,
Her eyes that pull mine toward
Precious in my fantasy lands
She reigns, on the throne of my heart, Irreplaceable through time
Whilst reality reckons as thorns of Red Roses
These footprints don’t seem to fade,
The starshine dims, in front of our reflections, memorised by my teardrops
Despite the harsh Moon tides, gushing through the sands.
