Water Coloured Tears

water coloured eyes

paint dripping down as tears

swirling with the pastel blush

draining a plethora of water

from brushes not dried enough

the eyelashes are a curtain of brushes

pupils of pigmented centres

surrounded by irises of dried-up tint

create glass-like orbs of existence

but its these eyes she uses to create a masterpiece

no matter how many cracks it sustains

or how it crushed it becomes

the colors dance together

on a ballroom of canvas

soaking up every inch of cloth

staining the white expanse

with colors of her imagination

her hands acting like blotting paper

to soak up all the excess paint

that ruins the artwork

leaving behind a masterpiece of emotions…
