When greed & power takes over one's mind,

There lies disruption of the human mankind,

Agony, Sufferings & the fear of death creeps in,

What remains are those empty faces and bloodshed skin .

Dead bodies strewn all over the empty land,

That had once borne the life and sweat of a working hand ,

All that prevails are those long lost memories,

And the painful cries of those akin in deep reverie.

What gains does a war bring forth??

Where there is complete destruction and loss of mirth,

"Peace" is too arduous a word to be dealt with,

In a world where there is no meaning to it, but rather confers as a silent myth.
