Wait Till Infinity

I sing lullabies of your deeds –

Infinity is a long way

Its all painted in black and grey.

The snippets of time frame

Touch my skin like drops of rain.

I swim in a puddle of tears

With no direction, just blank stares.

I sit idle in with gushes of wind

Reminiscing all the days where I have sinned.

I wonder why does my heart not ache

For the times you didn’t understand the happiness I faked.

It hurts, it hurts too much.

This vicious cycle in our lives

Of wars which come and seldom leave

Leaving nothing but misery in mind.

This wait till infinity is too much.

Oh! How I year for you to feel what I feel.

I have waited too long.

So long,

That I feel hurt no more.
