Voices

I’m just another voice

Living through this universe

Sounding like a good old string

Maybe I’m warm,

Nascent in nature

Like fresh spring air near the hedgerows of your house

Floating in abyss

through the windows to the stars

Or I might be a sound

Just more clear than a voice

Just more clear so you could hear me move

To people, bad and wise

Maybe I’m a clear sound, A wave

The wave you always knew

But never paid attention to

And treated me like a stone

Now I’m just in a corner

Begging to be heard, as you choose to depart

Never wondered,

Why you never listened to your heart
