I draw a maze

out of memory

just tepid criss-crosses

deepening the distances

and forgetful of the getaways

I put some haughty chairs in it

with unbalanced legs

that remind me of the sanity

that awaits outside

tabled for a trepidation

I don't fix the leaky faucets

for it chokes the unrhythmical clockwork

that's unbiased and unabashed

to and for the deaths in dividends

addicted to the poison of poignance

I keep unstitching the sails

when those storm feels unfaithful

unsettling the umbrae

retracing the retrospection

wary of the reflection

I erase the evocation

in my remembrance

of a verbose silence

putting a cross on my forehead

hooked to a heart of leeway.
