VISION OF A PERFECT WORLD

My vision of a perfect world

Is hardly a dream;

Barely a fantasy and

Definitely not a reality-

But anyways here goes:

Clear the blue skies

With the sun shining down

On our smiley faces.

Rivers and streams

Flow freely and beautifully

Being free of trash.

Planes fly in the air

And not into buildings.

Sand and stone stay on the ground

And not on people's faces.

Smoking and drinking

These words don't

Have a place in our vocabulary.

Cancer has been beaten

And forgotten.

We can say goodbye

And still be friends tomorrow
