Virtual Reality

By Riddhima Kundu

Virtual Reality is not a physically existing essence of life, but a software created to appear to do so. This virtual world can only be seen with VR glasses (virtual-reality headset).

Recently there has been a recent update from meta, that from 2033 onwards, there will be an artificially designed metaverse for the humans. VR glasses would be provided to the people who subscribe to the meta package. We will see the impossible virtual essence of life. The dead would be brought back to life in the virtual reality. The photos of those particular people would be processed and displayed. Some say that it is a good thing to see the loved ones come back.

However, some say that it is bad for the mental health of the people. The people who are gone can never come back in reality, and creating an artificial intelligence for the dead would never be the solution for their deeply wounded heart. It wouldn’t be a development, but a drastic damage to our mental health.

With time, people will be obsessed with the system of virtual reality and will lose all connections with the outside world, not accepting the reality. However, this artificial intelligence should be used wisely and not been taken advantage off.
