നിനക്കായ് വിധിക്കാത്തതൊന്നും

മോഹിച്ചുകൂടാ വിധിവെറും

മായവിയാണ് കാട്ടുന്നതെല്ലാം

ഹൃദയഭേദകമാം മായകളും

നിനയ്ക്കാതെയവനോരോ

നിമിഷങ്ങളെയും മാറ്റിമറിക്കുന്നു

നിനായാത്തത് അറിയാത്തതെ

-ന്തോനമ്മിലേക്കെറിയുന്നു

നമ്മളാമായയാം ചുഴിയിൽ

അകപ്പെട്ടുഴറുന്നു

മായയെന്നറിയാതെ നാമാനിമിഷങ്ങളെ

നമ്മിലേക്ക് ചേർക്കുന്നു

പിന്നീടൊരിക്കൽ നാം

നിനഞ്ഞിരുന്നരാവു നമ്മിൽനിന്നകലുന്നു

സ്വപനംപോലെയെല്ലാം

മനസ്സാം ചിപ്പിക്കുള്ളിലാകുന്നു

മായാസ്വപ്നങ്ങളാം മുത്തുകൾ

മനസ്സെന്ന ചിപ്പിയിൽനിന്നായ് മാഞ്ഞുപോവുന്നു

വിധിയുടെ മായാജാലമാം

മയക്കത്തിൽ നിന്നുണരുമ്പോൾ

നാം യാദാർഥ്യത്തിന്റെ

ചൂടിൽ വെന്തുരുകുന്നു

പിന്നെയും നാം നിനയുന്നു

വിശ്വസിക്കുന്നു വിധിയെ

വിധിയാം മായാവി നമ്മെ

എന്തിലേക്കൊ നയിക്കുന്നുവെന്നു നാം

വീണ്ടും വീണ്ടും മനസ്സാം

പുസ്തകത്താളിലെഴുതി ചേർക്കുന്നു

Translation:

FATE

Do not wish for something that is not meant for you. Fate is a cruel vanity, and everything it exposes is an illusion.

Fate changes everything in a flash, and you don’t even know why and when

We are all caught in the vortex of illusions created by fate. Moments come and go, and we don’t realise how fleeting they are.

Later, the moment we had been dreaming about will eventually pass. Again, everything will be caged in the mind’s cocoon like a dream.

These illusion pearls of fate disappear from the mind shell. Up on waking up from the delusional sleep of the fate the heat of realities will catch us.

Again, we defy fate. We over and over again write in our mind books that the life is being improved and steered in the right path by an illusionary destiny.
