Upheaval

Losing his mind,

Acting up like a putz.

Way down he falls,

Trembling and rolling into the schmutz!

Gaining consciousness,

To find himself chained and caged.

In a world so dark,

How he longed for the light as he aged!

Loathing to stay,

Trying to solve the puzzle.

Collecting his mind,

The kid is about to dazzle!

Running free from the shackles of darkness that he hates.

Comforting himself,

Smiling quietly as the story narrates!
