Untitled

It seems like a normal Sunday service, full with worshippers praying for answers. The gospel choir sing with beautiful, joyful harmonies.

I sit with my wife like always but the distance between us today, to me, feels like a humungous chasm.

The heaviness of seeing her with another rips at my heart. I struggle with my tears knowing I have a decision to make, a choice that will change our future forever.

So whilst my tears keep flowing, the choir stops singing and the Pastor begins, my choice is clear.

I rise from my seat and exit the church, alone.
