Until I Found Her

You are the epitome of beauty,

The dopamine source of my limbic system.

You are the Medusa of my life,

For I turn stone when you look,

Chained and locked in the nick of time,

All ‘cause of the air that you breathe.

Such flair with kindness,

And I forget the worlds darkness.

Such smile that it makes me wanna be Icarus,

Drawn to your sun like brightness ,

Not caring about my ill fate,

For I burn at your sight.

Your presence is a trance in limbo,

For I know that you shall be the death of me,

Yet you are the one who breathe life into me,

And I shall give you this heart of mine happily,

For it never belonged to me; beating to be sacrificed,

Functioned only to be governed by yours,

Ever thine,

Ever mine,

Ever ours.
