ඇස් කඩාගෙන

නුඹ නිසා මම

ලියූ කවි කියවා නැතී ,

මගෙ කියාගෙන

හැම භවේකම

අපේ හිත් හැප්පෙන්නැතී ,

හිත නිවාගෙන

නුඹ දිහාවම

බැලෙන හේතුව දන්නැතී ,

පපුවේ පැත්තක

නුඹ රඳෝගෙන

ආදරේ නොකියා ඉමී ...

වැරදි මොහොතක

එකම අහසක

පමාවී හමුවෙන්නැතී ,

ප්‍රේමයක් බව

දන්නේ නැතුවම

අපි ඔහේ හිනැහෙන්නැතී ,

අපි හොයාගෙන

අපි දිහාවට

කඳුලු වැහි වැටුණා ඇතී ,

හිත ගලෝගෙන

ගියත් නුඹ දුර

ආදරේදැයි නොඅසමී

පසන් මීගස්දෙණිය
