Unsettled

“Should there be haste?

We just met,”

The darkness crept on me.

As I trudged along

The clandestine passage

Inside my reverie.

In evanescent silence,

A moment’s bliss,

I beheld in the void

An arsonist.

Now set ablaze the gossamer

Foe of my foes;

And oh, to be a blithe spirit

In such chaos.
