The nineteenth Winter appeared like blissful Spring to her,

Promised with fulfilling dreams of love, trust, and faith.

The hands of time rolled ahead like a roller coaster of happiness making shrills of non-captive fun within the strings of bondage,

The next Autumn brought with itself the loss of leaves from the evergreen tree of Commitments.

Reality crawled in peeling away slowly the skin of perfection to inherit the mundane duties of moron days.

The inarticulate beauty of the turbulent storm enthralled and terrified her at the same time,

But the young lady walked heads up with mystic calmness without letting her spirits to be rained down;

The next Monsoon drained her of her beauty, charm, youthfulness, and her vitality at large,

Survival was the sole aim of their bond,

She was trying to prove her apt for him but did miserably outdoing every bit of her strength and resources,

Like a ‘Love-holic’ she tried to let the string stand unbroken amidst the storm of ungratefulness and wrath from the opposite,

All she did know was pleasing that filthy lover’s devouring existence that breathed heavily with the passing days on her.

The following Summer had darkened the circles under the eyes of distant dreams to the depth of being slaved by her wooer of disdain.

Self-respect encroached, nightmares didn't betray anymore as the amiable nostalgia from the City of Joy and frolic started to pain excruciatingly all the more,

As promises bled to reveal the unhealthy facts of a toxic psychopath,

She saw bleak pieces of the reminiscence of yesteryears starting to engulf the future of myriad opportunities,

Now she turned...

To face the tempest, to break the trance of the golden cage of any dependency possible;

She learned, "You can't be a citizen of dependence in the city of self-sustenance!";

She paced on with her walk of self-confidence,

The silence to be replaceable did not echo anymore, it reverberated most shockingly and brutally;

All the courage of motivation from the Phoenix of her Hopes and Aspirations made

Independent Self-esteem soar high above the flickering cuckoo's call in the New Spring to reach the zenith of solace once and for all.
