Unsatiated Minds.....

Stands frozen today, the canopy the green,

Tired witnessing the things, that shouldn't be seen.

Echoes of reticence stretching to years,

Bigoted blinds can't see the pain, the tears.

Even the alpha wanders so piteous now,

Myriad innocuous mutes, swept hitherto somehow.

Despair sings the haunted lullabies here,

Every breath pays the big price of fear.

The vasts of waters, shrunken to creeks and Brooks,

And dense wood today exists only in books.

Fireflies don't guide the trails no more,

Sweltering nychthemeron is a vent of hell' door.

The mighty ones alone are entitled to exploit,

For acquistive lands, the powerful has all droit.

Slaughtered for trophies, killed for vengeance,

Usurping our terrain and implying us the nuisance

From pervasive to substantial and to crumbs,

The voices were loud but muffled by drums.

Once brimming with life this place, this land,

Is a graveyard of betrayal, incessant to expand.

The unsatiated minds might have the cosmos infiltrated,

But murdering the virtuous has the doomsday fated.

And then this question keeps ringing in our head,

What this planet was and what you've made?
