Hey Dad, do you remember the last carnival?

When you took me there and the giant wheel crashed,

When the giant wheel crashed,

I saw your face and it was a face I had never seen before in my life.

Expression, which I have never seen before in my life.

Full of fear, full of terror, full of efforts, to save my life.

Wondering what if I would have died.

Even though it has been three years to the incident,

I still think about it.

I still think what if I would have died.

If I would have died, you would have mourned,

maybe you would have cried,

even though living, you would have been dead inside.

But most importantly, if I would have died,

you wouldn’t have been able to hear things that are still unsaid.

Things like,

I look up to you,

I look after you, I am gonna be with you in every phase,

whether it’s gonna be good or bad.

Trust me, I am your kid dad.

Things like,

Whatever I do is to make you proud,

To make you feel happy,

To make you feel loved.

I am still the 3 years old kid who wants your love dad.

Things like,

I love you dad,

I love you so much

And I know how much you love me.

But we don’t say it to each other,

Why?

Because we think that,

it will make us feel weak, emotional, insane.

Or maybe I am the way you are, Dad?

Do you remember the last carnival?

When you took me there and

the giant wheel crashed?

Do you?

How can you?

Because it was you, who sacrificed his life,

to save mine.

It was you, who went from happily living,

to sudden dead.

Come back, you owe me a hug.

Come back, I miss you dad.
