Sitting in two different nooks, 

Each one captivated in their seclusion. 

New to this place, new to this phase, 

Who knew we would be soulmates. 


Trials and uncertainty all new, 

Meeting it alone all through. 

Suffering and agony the same, 

Oh! but the comfort through you I gained. 



Though not by blood but through heart we are joined, 

If I only knew, you would be my best friend. 

Many friendships I have survived, 

But with you I relished every bit. 


Friendship by bond, but sisters by heart, 

Not from the start, but will be forevermore. 

Not an uncomplicated thing to find a friend so good, 

Just know that among thousands of people I have found you!
