Lend me a mask, I need to live,

This dreary facade, I need to escape..

On top, but still, bound by a chain,

I have lived a life, but never have lived,

The shining coat, that pretentious skin,

In the midst of clothes, I have been naked.

A million titles, I have no name,

A man I was born, a brand I am,

The burden of fame, as spineless I stand,

Anonymity I yearn, as chained I fall..

The piercing gaze, burning soulless me,

Prejudices uncalled, as I stand to be tried,

In this fake queue, should I toe the line,

Or run away, to a new sunshine..

To a land of hope, to a land of dreams,

In the plentiful nothingness, the embracing darkness,
