Every single one of us in this world wants to get recognized by society with all sorts of good words and appreciations. But in order to do so we all have made sure that we need to be good at something or some departments through which we can show and make sure that we are not ill-treated by any set of people. It's good to say that being skilled is better than being good at something.
When it comes to building skills or attaining mastery skills, we, the new age men have made certain set of skills which we think are necessary such as communication, convincing people or being the best amongst problem solvers, these skills showcase us as an intelligent individual in front of the society. But what we have forgotten is that we have to learn the skills to get the best out of us, not "the best" which society considers it to be one.
So, when we go deep down into this, we will definitely see the best of the world saying one common subject as the skill which everyone needs to acquire. That is expressing your thoughts or ideas as they are because your thoughts are a reflection of your personality.
More than that if you learn to express your thoughts as it is then you are literally bringing the best out of yourself. So, according to me, it is neither communication nor the problem-solving ability that matters but it's putting your thoughts as it is because if we keenly observe, we will come to the conclusion that it covers every single skill which we can think of.
"If you want to be heard, speak your mind. If you want to be listened to, speak from your heart" ~ Ritu Ghatourey
Amidst this rush to learn skills we are distorting one of the best blessings God has given us. We can communicate emotions; we can just give words to our feelings which in itself is a best healer. We might have had many problems socially. We can still pass it on or go through it but if we once dismantle the capacity of communicating our emotions, we can never be satisfied by anything in this universe.
Learning new things does not mean that we should unlearn the positives which we have got unintentionally.
