Unfathomable Conversations

Maybe my mind speaks to me in the language of the forgotten people,

Because if it wasn't so, how can I hear the screams but not be able to describe the same?

How can I feel the pain that hasn't been named?

How can I walk so long with these brittle bones?

My mind must be speaking to me in the language of the forgotten people,

For everytime I ask someone about these forgotten people in the hope to describe better,

I'm told "maybe you're speaking some forgotten language for all I can do is hear but not understand."
