Unfamiliarity

The one that once brought along warmth

Now makes my skin crawl in prickles and pins

The place which once felt like my home

Now remains as desolate and cold

All the memories in my mind stirs up a storm

Everything spiraling out of control in spins

Keeps haunting me where ever I roam

I hope I can continue to move forward and out, 

Through the unfamiliarity you are bringing me

Though you were familiar once, without doubt

I want to continue to be blind and not see

How much the things around us have changed throughout.
