Unearthing The Past.
By Toiba Fayaz Khan
As the sun goes down beneath the blood red wave
And the ebony takes over the radiance of light
Departing further and further becoming a rover till grave
Wandering across unknown kingdoms to spend the night
Unsettling nations with chiselled stones
Griffonaged sky and time running fast
Knocked down temples, pavements shining like moonstones
Uneven lands, pedestals and ruins of past
Rocks homing secrets of unknown realm
Domed ceilings, pyramid roofs covering sacred stones
Layered deep the truth of existence and overwhelm
The narrow window of chance to peel the past and to seep in zone
The river , springs and the serpents of time showing the power very divine
Unearthing the forgotten history that hold the incarnated avatar
Scraping , wondering and sifting the sign
Damp dirt, roots of dark under the tar
One needs to reveal the carvings and shards
And to listen to the breeze whispering the truth aloud
To know the verity Of the broken cords
Veil will be removed, so the fog and shroud
