Under The Oak Tree
By Suraiya Akbari
Under the Oak tree
she sits deliberately,
to pen down her poems
and tear it off relentlessly.
She's so lonely but accompanied,
by the shelter of the branches
and the leaves,
and the rustling sounds of soothing breeze.
Within the greenery
under the painted skies,
in the chirping of the birds
her happiness lies.
Reading life in the woods
speaking of loneliness and solitude.
She sits there for hours and long
listening to the nature and it's song.
It's her peace place, in the sun
she's a poet, yet unknown.
