Twilight Notches

By Yashashree Sen

I looked at the world

Far above me,

All i recall, the lost souls

The solitude others can't see.

The sky swaps its shade To a quirky, adorable pink The vast, intense blue dissapears And the arched moon winks.

The clouds were moving, forging faces So confidential, not to unveil its cases. I want to know where they were goin' For we search the ones in 'em

Wanting to meet and ask if they will ever come back Years passed by, but they never came.

Now the moon has begun shining With the stars came along,

I can no more see those paces Realized the clouds were gone; While i was perching from the terrace Being left thinking alone.
