True Colo(U)R

Holding the brush in one hand, the paint palette in the other

Started a staring contest with the colors

Mixing it with one another of my own choice

Wondering how it changes

Something pops up instantly,

Oh! This is how people change too…

I’m very much bound toward your shade,

All the sweet words, smiles, and time

Believed everything is true,

Without knowing that you have a contrast shade

And using it against me with others

The dumbest me later realized that the contrast shade was your true color…

A drop of your essence,

Mixed, made the color of mine unknown.

Realized that I’m bad at mixing,

Even though I tried to be with the change,

The true self remained that revenge is not a trait of mine

So, I have decided to stay with my own true color…

You are not worthy of my rival!

It’s all the disappointment, hurt, and broken pieces of trust I have.

I am unaware of the effects before

Still must acknowledge your power and your intelligence in faking.

Yeah! It’s on par effective to knock down anyone.

But not anymore…

Even the color/colour itself changes over for different people.

And the difference is U!

Find the true color of yours and the people around you ASAP!

Also don’t ever try to change your true color for the sake of others.
