चलो

तुम और मैं आज बैठें

सांझ की अटारी पर

पैर लटकाकर,

थोड़ा और पास खींच लाएं चाँद

लंगर डालकर,

दौड़ लगाएं आसमान में

पकड़कर पंछियों के पर,

रात की किसी डाल पर चढें हम

चाँद पर बैठी बुढ़िया से बचकर,

और चुरा लाएं थोड़ा सा नूर

तारों से चलकर ,

बांध दें कोई रिश्ता क्षितिज पर

ज़मीं और आसमां को जोड़कर,

भर लें मन

मेरा तुम .. तुम्हारा मैं

जी भरकर,

चलो मैं और तुम

आज बैठें

सांझ की अटारी पर।।
