The world I want to be in

is dying in three’s.

I’m only human

trying to breathe.

Can you believe, can you see?

The world we live in

is dying in three’s.

Keep dropping them,

you’re burning the trees.

They’re only human

trying to breathe.

Can you believe, can you see?

The world we believe in

is burning the trees.

Make another pavement,

another crappy lot.

Pay up the taxman,

strike one more hotspot.

Can you believe, can you see?

The world we live in

is not what it seems.

Strike another conversation,

nuances implored.

Topics diluted,

sometimes they’re absurd.

Can you believe, can you see?

The world we live in is trying to be

Happier.
