Transparent

I’m always ever so wary of the people all around,
A million thoughts in my head that run in the background.
At any given point a great many ponderings under the surface,
Ranging from trivial and silly to manic and downright dangerous.
I’d hate for my thoughts to dematerialize into shallow observations,
Understandings in my narrow purview to become strong accusations.
I fear they’d start to appear upon my forehead like a news ticker,
You will read them in wonder as they run by quicker and quicker.
I’d like to believe that I’m less transparent than Casper,
A bit more substance to my soul, not just fluff and laughter.
I’d like you to consider me as an opponent formidable,
And not just ordinary, run of the mill, a fool and imbecile.
Bear in mind that most of us spend our lives constructing,
A Kevlar vest around thoughts and feelings from escaping.
Your words like bullets, cannot penetrate my armour,
I am safe within as I protect my worldly demeanour.
Its Azkaban for Judgy Jaya who sits in the same cell as Schizo Sandhya.
Slutty Seema and Chaste Chaitra share a common kink.
Preachy Pinky and Psycho Padma are best-friends forever,
The muggles out there oblivious, must know these facts never!
Harnessing all these lovely ladies to put up a united front,
Calm and composed I give you myself edited and blunt.
The visor snaps down sharply over thoughts obscuring,
Transparent no more, poker face ready for playing.
