Transcends of Solitude

Besieged by isolation all around,

I succumb to my fragile wounds.

The stride carries a wave of desperation,

Towered by the opposing intuition.

I long for the comforting warmth of the stars,

But I surround myself with the lingering scars.

The broken heart is but a futile metaphor;

I burn away, like a fallen camphor.

I sail over the depths of despair;

The ship has sunk, yet I remain there.

The tides resonate with my broken dreams,

But I chart my way through the resenting streams.

They wish upon the shooting star-

It is but debris, broken apart.

The shore echoes with the cicadas' trilling;

I gaze upon the stars, so enchanting!

The pressure is everywhere but on me,

While I contemplate the reality.

Solitude is an alluring web,

Which reflects upon the cosmic ebb.
