Toxic

My tears have stopped.

Ink has dried. No words to express, Nothing to write.

No way to show

How much I care for you

Or how bad I want you back

After all this time

"He is toxic" they said, And perhaps they’d been right. yet I chose not to believe Cause you put a spell on me And I am bound to be in love with you For eternity.

We were not meant to be we had no future we could build If we had just tried

Maybe we could've changed that

But alas, here we are

You walked away when I asked you to stay Pushed me off the edge Where I met insanity.

You held my heart

You knew that Yet you were careless And burned it away.

We had built a bond

So pure, so strong

That even before you confessed your betrayal

I knew you’d moved on

Then tell me why am I

Still stuck from where we began

When I saw it coming vividly From a mile away .

I used to belive

That we belong togther, Soulmates, if you will

Just for you to take it all away.

I guess it comes down

To all the little things ,

The efforts we are willing to put

That remained one sided

When it came to us

Oh I see it now

All those red flags,

All the warning signs,

Makes me think They’d been right

You were toxic all along.
