Tornado

I am not good with words,

And you seem to struggle with my eyes.

Eyes that are dark and void,

Seeming to hold no power at all,

Power to move your soul as if it's a magnet

Drawn towards the attraction I imagine I had.

I say I try hard, and I really do

To create channels of light

Between the terrifying pain of my heart

And the seemingly void trouble of my eyes,

I try to make you realise

How my heart beats as if my throat would burst,

My breath caught beneath your burning nonchalance,

Your voice ringing in my ears

Making each drop of me wait,

Till you finally glance in the void of my eyes

And notice the tornado in me
