TO THE SOUL THAT ACHES

Smile, Love. You are allowed to After all the trouble you've been through. Let it wipe the anguish of deceit; It's not your fault you trusted, It's their fault they lied Keep that in mind.

Laugh, Love. As loud as you can, As painful as it gets. Laugh so hard that you can't help but cry, Let it wash away all the lingering "whys." Let those happy tears roll down your cheeks; Not everybody who cries is lonely Remember that.

Love, Love. Give it all you've got. Do not let hate make you forget That your strength is not in what you receive, But it is in what you can give. Let love overflow from you, And let it sweep away the black and blues, 'Cause no matter how hard it gets, Loving is not something you regret Know that, Love.

Rest, Love. There's no shame in pausing; It doesn't always mean failing. It's just that on some days, Your bones may feel like breaking, Every part of you is aching. Keep still and feel the breeze on your skin, Let the wind sweep away all the pain within. There's no need to rush Do not forget that.
