To The Day We Meet

Its 3 am, and I’m still crying in the dark,

For my broken heart, and soul with a mark;

To the day we met, when I found a love like me,

To all my happiness, he was the only key;

To the day I was afraid the most,

When I couldn't think of a way to propose;

Thinking of the moment I would call him baby,

As far as I remember it was the month of February;

He stayed deep inside my heart's core,

My favorite color was whatever he wore;

How it got over I don’t even have a clue,

Like a fireband, maybe it just blew;

And, to the day, we'll surely meet again,

When we'd almost forget the pain;

Maybe once again we'll feel our heart rush,

Maybe once again we'll make each other blush;

If one last time I could ask you a thing,

Let's rephrase from ‘the day we met’ to the ‘the day we meet’.
