I found myself lucky to have found you

Smiling so bright, my heart shined

When you talked, I wanted to hear everything

When you asked me something,

Sorry I was too busy adoring you

But you made me feel the prettiest girl alive

I thought that’s it, I love you

More than anyone, more than anything

Feeling giddy all the time

Always on cloud nine

You appreciated everything I did,

Be it singing, dancing or the love I hid

It was surreal to be with you,

I thought it was too good to be true.

Here comes the day,

When you let me say

That I was wrong

But too strong

To let you make me cry

I was not a fool to believe you

Just a lover who loved you

Looking back in time

I feel happy that my heart was broken

They are the scars of battles

Yes I have been to war

Not to win them

But to find myself

Today much stronger & happier

I will say I haven’t been better

To the boy I loved

A part of me always will do,

But I have moved on

To better things in life

To live and be alive.
