Time And Again

Time and again

I’ll pick up every piece of paper

That’ll tell me they love me

Only to find it crumbled and empty

Time and again

I’ll be fatefully blind

Won’t see the forest for the trees

And burn it dry

Time and again

I’ll go to bed

Weary of my choices and second guess

But,

Time and again

There will be warm sunshine

And I’ll tell myself

Darling, you’ll be alright
