Till Eternity And Then Some

If I were to die today,

Knit me a blanket out of your words,

Lay me in it to sleep forever.

To be completely and utterly lost in your love,

To be blissfully unaware of the consequences,

And when we die, I hope our souls are made of the same wise old gentle breeze

But for now, I'm left with a longing heartache for something I never knew existed

Must a world be conquered for this to be art?

Aren't we poetry enough?

Every beginning may be new

But my end will always be you.
