I found you where the lanterns drowned in silver fog,

Where midnight kept its pulse beneath the stones.

You stood like a prayer no church had dared to keep,

And every ghost in the corridor turned toward your name.

Beloved, if the dark demanded tribute,

I would empty every hour I owned into your hands.

I would walk through ruined kingdoms barefoot,

Carrying your shadow like a sacred flame.

Your smile is a blade made gentle by moonlight;

It opens me without drawing blood.

One glance from you, and the grave remembers spring;

One touch, and the night forgets its hunger.

I do not love you quietly.

I love you like a cathedral abandoned by dawn,

Like bells still ringing beneath the sea,

Like a phantom kneeling before the only living star.

For you, I would forsake every borrowed heaven.

I would bargain with the sleepless dark,

Trade my name to the wandering dead,

And guard the fragile fire of your heart with all that remains of mine.

If the world raised its cold hands against you,

It would find me standing in the doorway of the night,

Not as a hero, not as a saint,

But as the man who chose you beyond reason.

Let the moon bear witness:

I would follow you through every haunted corridor,

Through every kingdom of ash and velvet silence,

Until even the ghosts grew weary of our devotion.

And when the final darkness closes its wings,

When the stars loosen from the sky,

I will still be beside you-

Faithful as a specter,

Fierce as a vow,

Loving you past the last breath of night.
