This Way We Live

O God! Please have a glance at today’s newspaper

And you’ll understand how we’re.

Our time ghostly chaotic.

Our life deeply uncertain.

Here you’ll find piles of bodies.

Here you’ll see dance of democracies.

And we’re amidst them.

Bodies are found here and there.

Bodies are found before hospitals, behind the doors.

Bodies are found on the roads, in the rivers.

Bodies are found everywhere.

They called you for the last time.

They called you before they’re gone to sleep.

They turned to you, they looked for you.

No, they found you nowhere.

So they told the doctors, so they asked the nurses

To keep their children in their prayers.
